Dear Colleagues,
Within the framework of patient safety and clinical quality improvement priorities in healthcare, the Advanced Training Program entitled “Integrated Governance in Catheter-Related Bloodstream Infections,” organized by the Turkish Hospital Infections and Control Association (H?DER), will be held on 28 March 2026.
Catheter-related bloodstream infections represent a significant challenge that threatens patient safety and imposes a substantial financial burden on healthcare systems. This training program will address vascular catheter selection, prevention of complications, management of diagnostic gray areas, and rational antimicrobial treatment approaches from a multidisciplinary perspective.
The program content is structured around up-to-date epidemiological data, scientific presentations, and, in particular, hands-on mannequin-based workshop sessions and case discussions aimed at enhancing practical application skills. The training is open to all healthcare professionals working in relevant clinical areas, especially infection control teams, physicians, nurses, and intensive care units.
We would be honored to welcome you to this comprehensive training program, which will contribute to your professional development and add value to infection control processes within your institution.
Knowledge initiates change in infection control; practice saves lives.
Sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Emine ALP ME?E
President, Turkish Hospital Infections and Control Association
